Current
Developments
100 Grove Road, Tring, Hertfordshire
This
project involves the construction of two substantial, detached,
three storey houses in this sought after area of Tring.
Each property will have an internal area of circa 3500 square
feet (excluding double garage), with 5 large bedrooms and 3
bathrooms. The main bedroom will have a separate dressing area
and a terrace overlooking the rear gardens. From the first floor
landing a separate staircase will lead to a vast open-plan games
room which could provide alternative uses, subject to client's
specifications.
Externally, attention to detail will be paramount. The houses
have been designed with an 'Arts & Crafts' influence, incorporating
red multi facing brickwork, large feature chimney stacks, steeply
pitched plain clay tiled roofs and sections of render or vertical
tile hanging. The traditional appearance will be further reinforced
with brick plinths, oak bracing to porches and stained exposed
rafter feet to eaves.
The development will be set within mature gardens with well
screened boundaries and a variety of trees and hedgerows. To
the front a long sweeping driveway will lead to the two houses
and to the rear the outlook will be across open fields, looking
towards Ashridge and Ivinghoe Beacon.
This
development is due for completion in November 2010.
